Who is Orange Grove? Where are they from & why should you go check them out? Currently residing in The Hague, Holland, Orange Grove is out to show that they are definitely here to stay and the noise they have been making is surely speaking for itself. The problem with some of today’s music lovers is that they don’t give an artist the proper attention they derserve unless the artist is a grammy award winner, number one on the billboards or seen in every magazine or poster selling you something besides music. Some of us have slightly forgotten the fact that it takes a while before you can make it up there with the big guys and Orange Grove is slowly but surely claiming their spot with hard effort and support from what now is becoming a global fanbase. When you want to go out and enjoy a nice evening of good live entertainment, your main concern should be having a good time first and foremost, the entertainer is but a plus point to the experience and Orange Grove is a band that gives you all of it: A wonderful time & the experience of some good, chilled out live music. The Sint Maarten bred band which was started by charismatic singer Michael Maidwell and his close friend and guitarist Jacob Streefkerk in 2001 has been traveling the world bringing Caribbean vibes to the colder capitals with their unique blend of sound. What started as a Hip Hop group turned into one of the most unique blends of sound to come out of the Caribbean. Orange Grove’s music is a melting pot of everything they love: traces of Rock, Hip Hop, and Reggea are splattered all over their sound. For more than 10 years they have continued to expand their fanbase from the Caribbean to Europe all the way back across the Atlantic & The United States.
Members of the band include BZ on the Drums, Tim on Guitar, Michael on the Mic, Jacob on Guitar and
Daniele on Bass. This group of five dedicated & driven individuals forms an unstoppable asssembly
with one goal in sight: spreading the feel good vibes to the world.
Orange Grove has currently finished touring the United States as they now get closer to their ‘Caribbean Tour’ which starts in Aruba alongside the very talented Glennis Grace to play their greatest hits and newest singles such as ”Some Things Last Forever” & the captivating song ”Easy Love”.
