During the press conference on Tuesday, the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival organizers mentioned the launch of its new re-designed website.
The new website – www.curacaonorthseajazz.com – has a fresh new look and it is more user-friendly than the old website. The main performers of CNSJ 2013 are showcased on the homepage and the complete festival program is easy to find by just clicking on the ‘Program’ menu option.
The international interest for the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival has been growing since the announcement of Luis Miguel in January. Now this interest has accelerated with the recent addition of Usher, who with be performing with a crew of 60, to the festival roster.
Some other highlights at the press conference were:
- the introduction of an expanded line of festival merchandise;
- the festival tickets prizes are the same as the previous years: US$ 195 per person per night, including sales tax (OB);
- tickets payment in installments is still possible for locals;
- tickets are in stock in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao and Netherlands;
- tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com;
- today the festival organizers are going to Suriname to promote the festival;
- InselAir wil sell festival tickets through their office network in Venezuela;
- DAE will offer special airline fares during the festival period;
- the hotels around the festival venue are nearly fully booked for the festival period.
The Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival 2013 weekend is preceded by concerts during the week. The lineup is as follows:
- Brionplein on Sunday 25 August – FREE CONCERT of: Israel & New Breed;
- Brionplein on Monday 26 August – FREE CONCERT of El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico;
- Brakkeput Mei Mei on Wednesday 28 August: Al Di Meola;
- Brakkeput Mei Mei on Thursday 29 August: José James.
