CHATA is proud to introduce to the Tourism Industry of Curacao its very own “Data Center”! The Data Center will serve as a platform for all partners to be able to download, search, view and understand the performance of our CHATA member Hotels.
One of the priorities of CHATA is to be able to collect accurate and reliable data from its members to be able to make better investment decisions and to finally get a better understanding of the performance of our Tourism Industry from the perspective of the members of CHATA.
With the importance of Communication in mind, CHATA has developed this new independent DATA portal titled www.chata-data.com which will allow CHATA to pro-actively communicate Occupancy % of our CHATA member Hotels, Average Daily Rates and Revenue per Available room.
According to CHATA President & CEO Lizanne Dindial, This is just the beginning, I truly believe that this industry relies on DATA to be able to make those investment decisions and to understand the fluctuations in the industry, and I promise you that we will continue to add additional DATA on this website which at the end will become a powerful tool to be used for all research, studies and reports of the island of Curacao.
Www.chata-data.com is designed with the same look & feel of www.chata.org which will allow users to easily navigate in between the websites which are inter-connected.
Additionally, since 2012, CHATA has entered into a Partnership agreement with Smith Travel & Research (STR) for them as an independent DATA pioneer to be able to collect the above mentioned data on a monthly basis from our members.
