Pilot Travel Agent Reward Program launched

Private Sector initiative to further stimulate demand for Curaçao

Willemstad, July 4th, 2018 – Curaçao Airport Partners NV (CAP) and Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association (CHATA) successfully launched a pilot   Travel Agents Rewards Program on June 1, 2018 in the USA And Canada. The objective of the program is to stimulate sales through travel agents and further promote our destination in the North American Market. This effort is in line with the Strategic Tourism Masterplan which recommends growing visitor arrivals from North America. Through the program CHATA, CAP, Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) and the participating hotel partners will be able to collect important data for the destination, such as which agents and agencies are currently selling Curaçao and which platform is most efficient. CHATA, CAP and CTB will also connect directly with the agents through the program to inform them of new events and updates happening on the island. In addition to this Curaçao will also provide periodical training sessions and invite the agents for educational trips to the island.
