WILLEMSTAD, Curaçao – June 2, 2014 – Hilton Worldwide announced the appointment of Cedric Nubul as general manager of the recently renovated 196-room Hilton Curaçao resort. Nubul, who started his new role in Curaçao earlier this year, will be responsible for leading the team and overseeing the operations of the oceanfront resort. Cedric most recently served as director of business development, Hilton Petaling Jaya in Malaysia, where he successfully led the efforts to reposition the hotel as a leader in the local market. Cedric is from Martinique and has over 15 years of hospitality experience. He joined Hilton Worldwide in 2000. Since then, he has held manager and director roles in finance, revenue, front office, business development and operations in multiple destinations including Spain, Italy and Maldives. Hilton Curaçao has done some drastic renovations, like a complete renovation of the rooms, entire new coffee shop (Barista), expansion of the fitness facilities, and still has some great projects for the upcoming year, so a great moment to lead the hotel to the next level.
