Curaçao represented at CHIEF 2016

Willemstad (September 6th, 2016) – Following the success of last year’s inaugural Caribbean Hospitality Industry Exchange Forum (CHIEF) organized by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) this year’s CHIEF will be held in Puerto Rico from September 30th to October 2nd.   The event will bring together owners and operators of hotels and tourism-related businesses of all sizes with industry experts and providers of goods and services.

The goal of CHIEF is to provide attendees with practical content to help them grow their business, become more efficient and profitable, and to provide a forum for them to exchange best practices among colleagues. Knowing of CHATA’s Director of Product & Marketing, Miles Mercera’s experience and insight he’s been invited to attend CHIEF 2016 and specifically to moderate the session “Keeping Up with the Platforms – Where Should Your Social Focus Go”, scheduled for Sunday, October 2nd. The session topic was developed based upon research conducted with the industry to identify priority areas for sharing industry intelligence, information, trends, and solutions to challenges and emerging opportunities. It is essential that the tourism industry be armed with the insight and know-how to weather uncertainties and ensure they are elevating the quality of their product offerings, becoming more competitive and profitable. For more information please visit www.chata.org or follow us on www.facebook.com/CHATACuracao
