Willemstad (September 8th, 2016) – The award ceremony of the Stars of the Industry 2nd quarter was held at CHATA member Royal Sea Aquarium. During this event, the 2nd Quarter Employees and Supervisors nominated by a variety of CHATA members were recognized and celebrated. CHATA focuses each quarter on a different personal quality a person has that brings out the best in them while working in the hospitality/tourism industry. The main focus of this quarter is Customer Service.
Customer service is the act of taking care of the customer’s needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer’s requirements are met. Being customer friendly and service oriented leads to more repeat customers and great reviews for our local businesses. Being customer friendly and going the extra mile is what made these nominees this quarter’s ‘Star of the Industry’. It is greatly appreciated and needed to recognize the most outstanding employees of our industry. Lizanne Dindial, President & CEO of CHATA was quoted saying “Motivation is what drives this industry and commitment is what keeps us going.
