Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort Vineyard Corporate Client Reception 2018


Willemstad (May 22, 2018) – Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort’s events & catering team held its first corporate client reception of the year on Friday, May 18th. Set on the recently developed Wakura Lawn, a new outdoor event space located on the frontside of the resort, the evening welcomed Santa Barbara’s corporate clients to learn more about the wine and food pairings program available at the AAA Four Diamond-rated property.

Each year, Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort organizes two corporate client receptions to keep partners informed about new concepts designed to enhance their corporate events. Friday’s reception offered a tasting of Santa Barbara’s extensive wine menu and showcased how those wines may be paired with a variety of the resort’s signature dishes.

Guests had the opportunity to sample a range of wines, including the Gnarly Head Old Vin Zinfandel, Cotes du Rhone, Tempranillo, Chardonnay, White Zinfandel, Prosecco, and a selection of sangrias. Each was paired with a dish expertly-crafted by the resort’s culinary team; food items included fresh oysters, tenderloin with mashed potato, tofu with onion chutney, marinated olives, hamburgers, and empanadas.

Live entertainment was in the hands of Nelson Braafhart, a talented young saxophonist, while area décor was done by Confetti & Company Events, Bonsai, and Massive Productions.
