Willemstad – On Thursday December 14, Curaçao Airport Partners and Curaçao Airport Holding launched three new digital platforms at Curaçao International Airport. CAP CEO Ralph Blanchard and CAH Senior Advisor Airport Operations Giordano Molina, held their speeches in an innovative way by a video presentation on the Airport Boulevard screen, followed by a countdown moment to the launch. The new screen, that can even be viewed from the Mirador, is the biggest advertisement screen on the island, but will also be used for entertainment purposes such as event and sports screenings.
“Technology today drives almost everything we do in our lives, whether its business or on a personal front. This trend is going to continue into the future, and at CAP we really do embrace this trend. We think it’s going to continue, we think it’s going to be exciting, and that it’s going to be a tremendous benefit for our users, our customers and for the community in general. We hope that it will enhance your airport experience”, were statements of Mr. Blanchard during the screened video message.
As of this weekend the new airport website and airport app will become available for use. The new 6 meter by 8 meter 10 mega pixel Airport Boulevard Screen was also officially inaugurated, making it the biggest advertisement screen on the island. The new screen will also have an additional use, as an entertainment an ambiance point at the airport, as the intention is to also screen entertainment such as sports and cultural events, movies or create ambiance. “We have various ideas on how we can enhance the user’s airport experience. We’ve realized projects such as the eGates, and have several more upcoming innovative items, such as the collector’s baggage belt and new counters. Curaçao Airport Holding is extremely pleased to be inaugurating this new screen with CAP.
