83% Hotel Occupancy in February 2015 Changing the Game…


After a great start with 80% Hotel Occupancy for the month of January 2015, CHATA recorded another big win for the industry. An-average hotel occupancy of 83% for the month of February 2015. It has been a long time since the industry recorded such a high occupancy for the month of February, similar to January. Previous years data for the month of February 2015 show that this is considered a milestone for the sector with figures such as 78% in 2012, 79% in 2013, 79% in 2014 and now 83% in 2015.  (See table below)

According to STR, CHATA Hotels registered a higher Average Daily rate compared to last year. CHATA has seen a steady increase in the rates being offered in the market, which will in return increase the revenue available per room. Average Daily Rate and Revenue per available room.
